The base donation can be multiplied in each case. For example, $150 treats two malnourished children!

Life-saving Medical Care
Consider a donation of any amount towards our general operating fund that helps meet the on-going needs of the Lamp health center. The Lamp Health Center treats 8,000 to 14,000 patients each year and your gift helps keep life-saving medical care available.

Feed a Malnourished Child
A gift of $75 provides full treatment for a severely malnourished child. Treatment includes a two month regime of fortified peanut butter-based therapeutic food, weekly staff supervision and treatment of related health problems such as worms, dehydration, vitamin deficiencies and opportunistic infection. The prevalence of malnutrition keeps the need for this program very high.
Help a starving child thrive
Prenatal Care
A gift of $40 provides a full slate of nine initial tests for pregnant women and a full course of prenatal vitamins to take during the pregnancy. Give in increments of $40 to care for multiple pregnant mothers.
Promote healthy mothers and babies
12 Diagnostic Lab Tests
A gift of $30 provides 12 lab tests for patients in need. These tests are provided to patients free of charge. Our in-house government-approved laboratory allows Lamp doctors to diagnose a wide range of conditions and illnesses and ensrues proper treatment protocols.
Support high quality diagnosis and proper treatment
Pediatric Medication
A gift of $50 helps to cover medication costs for 12 children. Lamp has had a dedicated pediatrician since 2018, since more than one third of our patients are children. Please help us offset medication costs for children in need.
Keep children healthy
Schooling for One Year
A gift of $450 allows a child - who would not otherwise go to school at all - to attend school for one year. Your donation includes tuition fees, uniforms, shoes, textbooks, materials and tutoring. Donors receive a photo of each sponsored child and reports on their progress twice during the school year. This is a gift that will truly last a lifetime.
